Adil Ahmad

Adil holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Nottingham, where in his final years he focused on mechatronics and CAD ( Computer Aided Design). His Dissertation was on the design of continuum snake robots for use in nuclear fusion reactors. It was during this degree that Adil developed a powerful problem solving mindset that he plans to use as a tool in his time at The Data School.

Adil was drawn to the world of data during his Mechanical Engineering degree. Many of the projects he undertook relied on tools such as Ansys and Abaqus to perform strength retaining weight removal and part reinforcement. The objective being efficiency, using simulation data to test, iterate and ultimately create an optimal design. He plans to use this iterative, problem solving mindset to find the answers hiding within data.

Beyond his professional work, Adil enjoys going to the gym and plans to plans to pick up swimming again after a long hiatus. He finds exercise to be a great stress reliever and the best way to achieve a clear head. Vital for the world of Data Analytics.
