Amy is a skilled consultant with years of professional experience under her belt. She has a background in Financial Services, where she holds a wealth of knowledge in financial planning and analysis. Her analytical and problem solving capabilities have further been strengthened, not just during her time studying Economics at the University of Southampton, but also through the opportunities at The Information Lab to visualise data for clients across a wide range of industries from sports to aviation, aiding with key business decisions and strategies. Amy isn't one to shy away from industries outside of what she is familiar with.
From collaborating with teams to help them understand expenses and budgets, to analysing and communicating the business impact of cost challenges with key stakeholders, Amy has gained hands-on experience turning data into actionable insights. She is particularly passionate about uncovering the story behind the numbers, using data to shape business decisions, identify opportunities, and drive meaningful change.
Amy takes pride in her achievements from her time in the Financial Services industries, some highlights are:
● Delivered reporting tailored to specific stakeholders without any financial or data backgrounds, to help them have a better understanding of their monthly expenses and performance against budget
● Identified a $200k budget opportunity, which was able to be reallocated
● Uncovered incorrectly booked invoices for a cost centre, which facilitated better budget management
Outside of work, Amy applies her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit through wearing many hats - she is the co-founder of an Events Management and Decor company, and she also enjoys staying active and documenting her passion for exploring new restaurants and cuisines.
