Kieran’s interest in data began during his time at King’s College London where he completed his MEng in Biomedical Engineering. As part of his studies he undertook a variety of research projects which involved developing a range of problem solving and data skills utilising CAD modelling software, coding languages and experimentation.
He further developed these skills when he undertook an R&D internship developing, testing and documenting a CTR tooltip to be used in optic surgery. This experience helped hone his analytical skills specifically in data collection and representation – eventually leading to publication and presentation at the NiHR conference.
Kieran’s experience eventually brought him to The Data School where he is keen to develop his skills on Tableau and Alteryx to build insightful visualisations.
When he isn’t working on his data skills Kieran enjoys gaming, playing badminton and learning how to play new things on the keyboard and guitar.
